To help me give the best service to my clients I like to get to know my clients and their business goals. Maintaining a close relationship, allows me to attend to their needs in the best way possible in both compliance and non-compliance work.

Although my role as Audit Manager mainly consists of overseeing audits of a variety of companies, I have experience with a wide demographic of clients from different sectors and sizes, from small charities to large complex group companies. With my extensive technical knowledge, I can assist with all areas such as VAT, accounts, audits, tax returns, and other non-compliance work.

I started work in a local accountancy firm after obtaining a degree from the University of Sheffield, I then went on to qualify as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2008. Now I have over 15 years experience of working in a large firm over the water, on the Wirral.

What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done?
This has to be when a friend and I went trekking through Romania with nothing but a rucksack full of essentials, and a rough idea of where we were to end up! 

What is the most exciting thing on your bucket list? 
I would love to watch live sport abroad. Anything from Formula One, to a Rugby Lions tour, to watching England Cricket in the West Indies.

What one piece of advice would you give your 10-year-old self?
You only get one life so live it to the full and don’t hold back, make the most of every opportunity, you never know what the future will hold.

Who inspires you? 
Sir Ian Botham inspires me for becoming a professional sportsman in two disciplines, as well as using his profile to raise vast amounts of money for charity. I think this is truly inspirational.
