We are delighted to announce that Rob Young, Partner at SB&P, has been elected president for 2020/21 for the Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants.

Rob takes the reins from Andrew Lovelady and will support the society’s members from across Merseyside, Cheshire & North Wales.

The Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants forms part of ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). 

Rob’s primary role will be to oversee the delivery of services for members, as well as representing the interests of chartered accountants within the wider business community.

Rob joined SB&P in 2003 as an audit manager, transitioning to special projects and corporate finance in 2006 and became a partner in 2008. Rob supports businesses across a range of sectors, specialising in owner managed businesses.

Rob said: “I’m incredibly proud to be appointed president of the society. This exceptional period in which we find ourselves I’m sure will being a lot of challenges, which I’m looking forward to meeting. The most important thing for me is to ensure our members continue to have the support they need”.
