Heather Delooze

Payroll Manager

I strive to build efficient working relationships with my clients. By understanding their payroll issues and requirements, I can provide my expertise and give them the best advice. Through regularly keeping in touch with my clients, whether in person or over the phone, ensures that I am continually aware of any changes in their reporting requirements and can continue to deliver support tailored to their individual needs.

My core responsibility is to process payroll details provided by clients weekly and monthly. In doing so, I consider if any employees are furloughed and provide said clients with the correct calculations and net pay.

A bit about my background
I have been working within payroll for almost 30 years. My career began in industry and I progressed to the Accounts side and Payroll Bureau in 2007. Working with clients is where my passion lies, and after two years working for a Tesco subsidiary, I returned to Bureau work, with added client relations.

Outside of work, I am a respite and emergency weekend foster carer and have been for two and a half years, I have cared for 10 different children in that time and also have two regular children that come to me every six alternating weekends.

What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done?
I once daringly went on an 80MPH head-first zip wire!

What one piece of advice would you give your 10-year-old self?
Always aim higher and don’t stop until you achieve your goals.

If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?
Johnny Depp! I love how quirky he is. I think he’d make a great dinner guest.
